Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan has created a 100 lap go-kart race at Kokomo's Family Fun Center near Meijers on Tittabawassee in Saginaw. The 8th Annual Kokomo 500 involves a total of 16 teams (cars). Each team consisted of four drivers and two timers. The cars used are the go-karts from Kokomo's, they are specially prepared for our race. Four pit stops are required (changing of drivers) during the race. With the cars running flat out, it proves to be a challenging and exciting race of skill and endurance. This year's race will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008.
